Welcome to Turtles and Tortoises Inc.

We are a 60-acre turtle and tortoise farm located in Central Florida, featuring more than 200 ponds and a 10,000 square foot, temperature controlled breeding facility. For over 30 years, we have dedicated ourselves to breeding rare and unusual turtles and tortoises, and today we maintain one of the largest selections available anywhere in the world.

We proudly supply zoos, aquariums, museums, educational institutions, conservation programs, and hobbyists. Our animals have also been featured by prominent photographers and in a variety of media—including TV shows, movies, documentaries, magazines, and numerous books. Notably, we’ve collaborated with National Geographic’s Photo Ark with the incredibly talented photographer Joel Sartore. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned expert, we offer species suited for every level of experience.

Our breeding program includes a vast range of species from the more common Florida Softshell Turtle (Apalone ferox) to rare and exotic turtles like the Northern Australian Snapping Turtle (Elseya dentata) and the Ryukyu Island Black-Breasted Leaf Turtle (Geoemyda japonica). Everything listed on our website is currently in stock, and we’re constantly expanding our breeding efforts with new species.

Through longstanding partnerships with international breeders and a select group of top tier U.S. breeders, we ensure our customers receive only the highest quality captive bred turtles and tortoises. Turtles and Tortoises Inc. is proud to continually offer many species that are seldom, if ever, available elsewhere, making our selection one of the finest in the world.
